The town of the Colonia de Sant Jordi, in Mallorca, spreads out over the magnificent beaches of Est Estanys and Es Trenc in one side and Es Dolc and Es Carbo on the other.
It belongs to the municipality of Ses Salines at the south east corner of Mallorca.

This coast is well known for its virgin beaches of soft white sand and vegetation.
Winter storms deposit frothy waters on the salt flats which are then dried out in the summer sun leaving a covering of crystalline salt.
